Yesterday Jb and I checked out a few more potential wedding venues around greater Vancouver. We particularly had fun exploring the historic Stewart Farm in White Rock - I was coveting pretty much everything in the house, including the amazing kitchenware and the adorable vintage toys in the kids' bedrooms. At some point I really must start committing to the present time period - I have a feeling this constant yearning for the past might get old (no pun intended, harhar). On another note, this blouse was another awesome Steveston thrift store find. It's like it just couldn't decide between stripes or polkadots. POLKA STRIPES!
... I think as I become more immersed in studying anthropology my love of old cultural artifacts and decor will only grow and grow. Speaking of which, school starts in two days! I'm excited to get back to my studies, as well as challenging myself to take some creative photos even though I'll be indoors a lot. The ol' tripod will definitely be making more appearances soon... but I'll try to keep things interesting! Winter goals.
xoxo.

ReplyDeleteYes polkastripes indeed, I like some of the half and half and other crazy styles the 80s created. I like the length of the skirt too. Also the bedspread in the childrens bedroom is so sweet.
