Just before our Portland trip, Jb and I managed to snag a little time with my family on Mayne Island (off the coast of BC). It was a glorious little weekend filled with wildflowers, rope swings, jean dresses and plenty of brotherly teasing. My mom had a friend with a little cabin that we managed to borrow, which ended up being utterly adorable.

I realize this blog is fast becoming a vacation photography dump-site, but rest assured our summer has also been balanced out by long work days, stuffy apartments, bruised knees and, currently, recovery from some annoying dental surgery. Of course, editing these internet spaces has a way of subtly erasing those less-than-perfect experiences, but rest assured they have occurred!
Keep it real out there,
xoxo.
It seems you had great time :D love the pics <3
ReplyDeleteHaving had no holidays myself this summer, I'm more than happy to see your vacation snaps! The cabin looks lovely. And jealous of being by just about any body of water.

Zoe! What a crazy small world. I grew up going to that same cabin almost every year! My parents still visit there often. In fact, if you look in the back bedroom I think there's a dent in one of the walls from my brother's head. haha.
ReplyDeleteIts so cute!

Wow, it sure is a small world! We had such a great time there. I didn't see any dent in the wall, I think it's hidden pretty well :) This place definitely made me re-evaluate my city living. Maybe one day we'll become cabin dwellers ourselves...
Deleterope swing summer!
ReplyDeleteBest summer theme ever!
DeleteGeez, the adventures you've had this summer. Jealous!
