Just a lil' study outfit I wore to the library today... again, totally inspired by London schoolgirls from the 60's, and specifically from watching a whole bunch of the Beatles Anthology and watching all the girls go crazy during Beatlemania. Let me tell you, they sure could scream... and they sure knew how to wear turtlenecks and tweed!
I'm really excited to be modeling in a vintage show tonight for the Gypsy Market, a local vintage sale that goes on at various venues around Vancouver. I can't wait to show you guys some pictures!
Off for more studying...
xoxo.
Beautiful shoes!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit...it's just the right blend of chic yet studious looking which is not an easy balance to strike!! Goodluck on the runway...sounds like lots of fun, looking forward to seeing the pics :)
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute, and I can definitely see the 60s school girl/beatle mania inspiration in it! Pretty much the perfect thing to wear for library studying...
ReplyDeleteThe fashion show sounds fun, good luck! Vintage fashion shows are seriously the best. I used to do some for one of my local vintage shops, too!
You're looking absolutely lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh, schoolgirls from the 60s...just an endless source of fashion inspiration!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat outfit, I like any thing that has vintage student written all over it. Plus that skirt is the perfect colour/shape. Enjoy the modelling.
